On Road Media Podcasting Training and Video Blogging Workshops

Supporting diversity and inclusion on the social web

We've just finished delivering an Intro to Social Media for Charities in Dublin for members of The Wheel. What a great bunch of people! We're doing another one in April since this was fully booked within a couple of days. If you work in the voluntary sector in Ireland and are interested in learning more and chatting with other social media enthusiasts/beginners in your sector, visit http://socialmediaanimals.ning.com

Hope to see you soon.

This was an excellent seminar, a user-friendly introduction to the use of social media. As someone not familiar with this (although competent in traditional computer skills like email etc), I have put my toe in the water by setting up a mini-network for my family on ning.com. I have also put the possibility of setting one up for a charity I am involved in on the agenda for the next board meeting and I am pretty sure that we will do it.

I have one query about ning.com - not sure if Natalie or someone else can help. There does not seem to be a way of finding a list of the people I have invited to join the network. (In my case, this is only my wife and son so it is not an issue at the moment.) Is there a way of finding messages like that on ning.com in the same way as one has a Sent Items in email? Also, I could not find a Help button on ning.com - perhaps there is none?

Hi Natathie,

Are you doing another event in April still?

Neil
Hello! Yes, we are doing one on the 30th but it's fully booked. I am taking bookings that week for in-house seminars if you're interested? Hope all's well with you! N
