    Video Blogging
Using the Flip camera: Tips from BBC College of Journalism here
  2. Download this free guide to video production, filming and editing that www.wheel.ie put together with our support.

How to upload your video to YouTube:

  1. Go to http://www.youtube.com and set up an account. If you already have a Google account (i.e. if you use gmail) you can sign up with your existing login details.
  2. Follow these simple instructions.

Software:

  • Windows Movie Maker

Windows Movie Maker is software that gives you the basic tools to create, edit,

and share movies. This software should be on your pc (as it is free with

Windows) but, if it has been removed, install from download and make sure that

you chose the correct download for your computer‘s operating system. The version we use in training is 2.6, an older version, which can be downloaded here. We use the older version because you can do cutaway edits which can't be done with the Windows 7 edition.

  • Codec Pack

Codec Packs are easy to install packages of codecs, filters & splitters which are

used for playing back music and movie files. Installing the pack of codecs, from

this link, will enable a computer user to view videos.
